Nursing alumni join Heart Health and Black History Month panel
Two WVU School of Nursing alumni — Zakiah Bailey and Zyiah Bailey — joined the fourth annual Heart Health and Black History Month panel on Feb. 25 at the Mountainlair Gluck Theater.
Nursing students across all our campus locations have the opportunity to practice their skills and grow their confidence in simulation settings by working with classmates, manikins or standardized patients (who serve as actors) before working with real-life patients in the field.
The WVU School of Nursing offers accredited undergraduate and graduate level programs on five campuses and online.
The focus of West Virginia University School of Nursing's research is reducing health disparities among rural Appalachians. It is through this ongoing work with adults, families, and communities that WVU's nurse researchers are positively impacting the health of West Virginians.
